  • Jeff Stevenson, Preaching Minister


    Jeff Stevenson has been the Preaching Minister for the Belpre Church since 2010. In addition to Jeff's love for Christ, he's passionate about his wife, Tonnie, their three daughters and five grandchildren. He holds degrees in Bible, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Transformational Leadership. Jeff has preached for nearly 40 years. He is also a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an adjunct professor in Bible and counseling, a doctoral advisor and a published author. His ministry interests include teaching, evangelism, discipleship, small groups, foreign missions, counseling and writing. Jeff enjoys reading, walking, cycling and model railroading.

  • Travis Williams, Family Life Minister, Anchorgroup Director


    Travis Williams has been the Family Life Minister at the Belpre Church since August of 2012. He lives just outside of Belpre with his wife Kate and daughters Haddie and Ansley (August 2016). Kate currently works at Ohio Valley University. Travis loves working with the teens, their families and the "senior saints" as well. Starting September 2016 Travis also assumed responsibility for directing the AnchorGroup Ministry at the Belpre Church. Travis has three main passions in life: his relationship with the Lord, his family and anything related to hunting. 

  • Dan Canada, Shepherd


    Dan Canada was ordained as a shepherd for the Belpre Church in May 2007. He and his wife, Jo Ellen, live in Belpre. They began attending the Belpre Church in 1988 along with their two children, Ryan and Rachel. Dan grew up in Bedford, Indiana, where he attended the Central Church of Christ. He is a graduate of Ohio Valley College and received his bachelor's degree from Ohio University. He has been employed by WesBanco since July 1986 and works in the Corporate Training Department. He enjoys sports, running and reading.

  • Marty Clark, Shepherd


    Marty and his wife, Debbie, live near Bartlett, Ohio, on the farm that has been in the Clark family for 100 years. They are blessed to have four daughters and six grandchildren whose families are scattered throughout the United States. Marty is employed at the Washington County Career Center, Adult Technical Training in Marietta. He has been a part of the Belpre Church since 1975 and one of the shepherds for the last 8 years. Marty and Debbie enjoy traveling, hiking and spending quality time with their grandchildren.

  • Bob Crum, Shepherd


    Bob was born in Staunton, Virginia, and met his wife of 46 years, Joyce in Selma, Alabama. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years. After his military retirement, he worked at Ohio Valley University as Vice President of enrollment, and now owns and insurance business in Belpre. Bob and Joyce have two grown children and three grandchildren. Bob has served as an elder for the Belpre Church since 1991. 

  • mark kaufman, Shepherd


    Mark Kaufman has been an elder at the Belpre Church since February 2001. He lives just outside of Belpre with his wife, Connie. They have been married or 40 years and have three adult children and four grandchildren. They have attended the Belpre Church since 1982. Connie is an attendance secretary at Warren High School and also serves as a Bible school teacher. Mark is retired from Dupont.

  • Jack Thorn, Shepherd


    Jack Thorn was ordained as an elder in February 2001. After ten years of full-time preaching in Pennsylvania, he served for eleven years (1977-89) as part-time associate minister for the Belpre Church. Today, he continues a forty year career in the advancement department of Ohio Valley University in fundraising and public relations. Jack and his wife, Mary Ann, attended Ohio Valley University and Harding, then enjoyed family life with two daughters and five foster teenagers. Both currently serve the Belpre Church as teachers and ministry leaders. Jack serves as a shepherd, teacher and song leader, and Mary Ann as a teacher, Christian counselor and director for Courage to Change, a Christian 12-step recovery program. Jack and Mary Ann are also actively involved in stateside and foreign missions.
